Geology Trip in Taal

Last March 4, 2007 was our educational trip in Taal Crater, Batangas, Phils. We climbed for 3 hours to get to the crater. Yun lang naman, puro pagod, hingal, at init. Three hours was also the time of getting back to the speedboat.

We studied the stones found in the crater. There were Scoria, Tuff, and some solid sulfur.

After this exhausting adventure, I decided not to go back there unless someone gives me a helicopter.
