The new Globe Tattoo iPad
MAY 25, 2012 – Globe Telecoms launched the third generation of Apple’s tablet, the new iPad (a.k.a. iPad 3) at the Philippine Stock Exchange, Ayala Triangle, Makati.

The event formally began with the gala of the Tattoo iPad’s ambassadors, namely, BJ Pascual, Miggy Chavez, Charina Sarte, Mark Macanas, Cecile van Straten, Tim Yap, and Georgina Wilson, who caught everyone’s attention because of her stunning presence.

There were different stations where the new resolutionary device could be tried and demoed. Two iPads were connected to large TV screens. Two more were being demoed by models in paparazzi walls. Beyond the stage was an isolated glass-walled room where invited guests can have hands-on experience.

- Voice dictation, similar to Siri

The Social Media team were high-reaching as they paved the way for the new iPad to trend worldwide, #newtattooipad being the hash tag.
DJ Callum David and DJ Funk Avy brought the house down with their mixes throughout the night. After the program ended, the Manila Symphony catered dramatic music to all the guests.
