My Last Teen Year

There wasn’t any big preparation for this day unlike last year that I even changed my site banner, my profile description in bigsight.org, my profile in here in Multiply. What I just did was to muster energy to be more responsible as a person, as an elder son, as a friend, as an older brother, and as an inspiration.

All my friends whom I greet on their birthday – I always tell them that they should be a “gift” to others; they should be a blessing to many people; they should pray for other people for such is the best prayer that God hears. Now, I, myself, should do those things. Otherwise, I’d only be a super dumb hypocrite.
Before this day ends, I’d like to say thank you to everyone who greeted me today, my special day.

Thank you to:
-my family. Thanks for the e-cards, text messages, e-mails, and social networking replies.
-the ones who greeted me at exactly 12:00 m.n. — my first great friend in UP, my aguman buddy, and my high school best friend.
-my college friends who greeted me in the span of 12 hours (and still counting). It’s very overwhelming seeing the screen of my mobile phone saying “1 new (birthday) message.”
-my high school best friends and barkada who don’t fail to greet me with so much anticipation. Haha! I love you all for that.
-my warmth in Cold Weather, Fr. Jboy Gonzales, who, again, prayed for me and remembered me during his mass this day.

Above all, thank you to our Lord who gave me another year to live. Everyday is a blessing from Him.

Thank you to all of you reading this entry.
