For over three years, I’ve been looking for another family that would serve as my laughing side. At last I’ve finally found it – the Student Catholic Action.
When I was still the vice-president of the club in my third year in HS, I haven’t yet felt the missing thing. I thought at first, when my president chose me as his VP, I would have yet another circle of friends. But I was wrong. For the friendship to each and every co-officer was lacking.
When VP term came to an end, I already thought who my officers would be. I thought of the people I admire for their clean hearts shown not only inside their classrooms but also outside.
I enrolled at PROTECH review center at that time and I grasp the chance to come to think the final list with my friends/classmates there. On the first hand, I nominated 10 people for the club. Next was when I graded them according to courtesy, public relations, academics, and spiritual life, and only two of them were accepted. When the school-year started, there were still slots for fresh people who could possibly deserve for a new dimension.
I came up with my list. Unfortunately, two of my classmates dropped SCA because of having more than two clubs. I had to seek for replacements before the induction comes, I presented the new list of officers of the head of the Religious Council.
I cannot say anything more about my new companions.
To Luis of I-Maugenest, thank you for being a respondent for every task I assign to you.
To Flynn of II-Margaret Mary, keep it up; I know you can do more!
To Kimmy of III-Issoudun, thank you for teaching me to be humble and patient. I really learned a lot from you.
To Pao, my classmate, thank you for everything you contribute to me. Each of those is a big help for me.
To Raphael of, again, III-Issoudun, sorry for my being “show-off.” Thank you so much for the unmeasured laughs.
To Jeanina of III-Watertown, I thank you for being always present in our meetings.
To Kevin Pao of III-Issoudun, I idolize you so much for your bravery but in some cases, you must also admit that the ball is round.
To Juliet, my classmate, thank you for being patient. It’s great that I’ve been with you in SCA for two years.
To Kristina of IV-Sepe, thank you for riding with my jokes and also for the patience in time of work.
To Ralph, one of my trustworthy classmates, work harder and thanks for the forgiveness when I’m not in the mood to work.
To Ivan of III-Issoudun, as of now, I see you as the MOST RESPONSIBLE officer. Keep it up until I give you the magic words, “The sole power is yours!”
Finally, to our dear moderators – first, Ma’am Mol, thanks for everything and for all the advices. We love you! To Sr. Ruth, thank you for the understanding.
Being with them is yet a reason to be happy. I hope I could cherish my last year in CS with my classmates and with SCA.
